Hi I need some help for installing viper 5900 to 2008 wrangler. Viper… green(-) door trigger input, Wrangler… left door purple(-),right door PURPLE / white(-),trunk/hatch pin PURPLE / orange(-) Can I connect green, single wire from viper to these three wires in jeep?should I use any diodes to separate them? Can I run 4th wire connected to viper green(-) to protect engine comp. and install the switch? Parking lights I got 2 wires in jeep : WHITE/ orange left(+) and WHITE/ purple(+)right and single wire from viper white(-/+) Same thing-can I connect single white wire from viper to those two in jeep not bridging anything in jeep or use hazard switch and hazard lights instead parking lights ? thanks

you will have to diode isolate the door contacts, two one amp diodes bars facing the door triggers, the hood and hatch contacts have separate inputs on the unit, the hood contact is grey on the h3 5 pin connector, the hatch is blue on the h1 primary harness, wiring info says u can use the WHITE/ purple wire alone for the parking lights.

I want to use 520T,508D and 516U with viper 5900. where should I connect blue wire from 520T? is green wire of pre-wired plug from shock sensor harness OK ? should I use any diodes if I connect blue and green wire of 508D and green wire of 516U and blue of 520T to green of pre-wired plug ? thank you

yes you're using the green wire that is loose in the shock sensor harness, the side with the green wire inserted into the harness must be the side going to the brain of the alarm, diode isolate each input, bands facing away from the brain. ------------- COMMIT YOUR WAY TO JEHOVAH AND HE WILL ACT IN YOUR BEHALF.

thanks again for you help 508 and 516 work without any problems, 520 doesn't, I just want to confirm 1)508 green and blue/516 green connected to a lose green wire of a shack sensor 2)520 blue wire to same green wire of the shack sensor(lose green on the alarm side, not the shack sensor) I tried to disconnect battery(both-post. and negat.) and nothing happened, alarm was quiet thank again for you help

isn't the 520 a back up battery, can't remember off hand, but i'm pretty sure it is, that does not have to connect to the shock sensor period, i may be wrong, but there are four wires on the harness, red-- twelve constant grey-- to twelve volts input from alarm black-- ground (earth) blue-- to the hood switch ------------- COMMIT YOUR WAY TO JEHOVAH AND HE WILL ACT IN YOUR BEHALF.
