hey guys im new to this forum .. i just have a couple of questions

i just bought a prelude posted_image and it came with a clifford alarm .. the thing is that i want to change my alarm to a clifford 50.5 ( 2 way pager , with remote start ) ..

now my question is .. can i just plug and play with the brain from the 50.5 or do i need to do all the wirings again ? if you could help plz or if you know a link can you plz let me know ..thanks in advance

its a 99 prelude base model

Unless it's a G5 Clifford, show a photo of the remote or you know from the owners manual what model it is, nothing in the way of wiring or plugs will be compatible.

Thanks your existing alarm is a G4, the wiring is the same but all different colours, LED wil be the same (Blue for red), red to old purple and black to black.  Antenna and valet switch will be completely different. Siren will be wired differently possibly. On G4 Siren fed live feed and a grounding signal from alarm.  On current units the main siren is grounded and the alarm sends it 12v.+.

alrite thanks this is going to be my first time trying to install an alarm so .. i dont really know much .. i know more about car audio .. um also is there a tutorial on how to hook up a remote start for my car .. like how to wire up the immobilizer ? if you know the link can you plz send it to me thanks a lot for all your help
