Is there any difference between these two other than the panic mode when used on a 2004 Tahoe?

Also when using an xko1 and not hooking up an alarm--only remote start -- do I still need to hook up the pink wire to the domelight?

GMDLBP: has Panic.

XK01: Loses panic, but activates your heated features upon remote start at 32 degrees or below. (Rear defroster.....but also heated seats and mirrors, if equipped.)

Also, if buying XK01, buy from a reputable seller who will ship it to you with the correct firmware flashed to it. (GMDLBP is not flashable; already comes with correct firmware)

In either case, if not installing an alarm, no connection to the pink or pink/white wires is required.

I  downloaded and flashed the firmware for the xko1 but I could not get the doorlocks to work on my 2004 Tahoe. The bypass worked great though. Also tried the window roll up option to no avail. Always had good luck with the xko1 but it states that it may not work for the doors, also takes the door locks to work to program the window roll up.

Door locks should work fine with that module since they are data. Have you tested the door lock outputs of the system you are using? Have you just tried sending a true ground to the blue or green  wires of the module?
