hey sorry to get back to you too slowly but i was out of town. anyway i am totally positive this test light trick works on the viper 5901 or python 991 or any of the lc3 generation unsure if this works on the older responder le generation but i'm pretty sure it does cause the brains themselves are identical between the two or rather quite similar like i said after the antena swap you might still have to do this some i did not have to some i did

Thanks. I reset my python 990 by unpluging everything on the main brain. Then I re plugged everything back in. Strange thou I had 2 reprogam some of the menu settings for the alarm and remote start. I thought it would have kept it in memory. But know I have no remote issues. Works great.
