Not that it will help us tone, since you are in Japan, But what kind of vehicle, and do you know what that vehicle is called over here in the states?

The only way I've ever heard to do it is to install a keyfob in the vehicle and use a relay to actually "push" the disarm button on the keyfob.

You would want to power the keyfob with the car battery (so you don't have to worry about dead batteries) and then you just need to solder two wires - one to each side of the "disarm" switch.

The only other alternative I can think of would be to replace the 550esp with something that has a disarm wire - I know the older Audiovox units had them (not sure if the new ones do).

If I'm right, the Eurovan is AKA Mercedes Dodge Sprinter

kevin,

Thank you for kind reply. I installed Viper 800ESP in my Taurus wagon that can disarm or bypass torriger with one wire that you said. It is the easiest to replace it for 550..... Isn't there any way of silent with one negative toriger except keyfob surgery....

The problem is that including a (-) to disarm wire greatly compromises the security of the system - that is why you won't find it on most systems.
