Do i really need a Immoblizer part #: DEI 555U on my Viper 790xv to make the remote start work on my 00' Honda Prelude? Also how do I bypass the clutch on the Prelude? Thank you for the help.
I would use the PKH-1 instead of the universal. The PKH-1 is more expensive but you don't havet o use your spare key to bypass the Immobilizer.

and well for the clutch there canbe one or two clips plugging into the clutch trial and error before starting test this ans simple unplug one clip at a time and try to start the car as you would holding down the clutch if it starts than you dont have the right clip plug that one back in and test other one if there is only one clip take the two wires in it seperate tham from the clip splice them and connect them together. make sure the the wires you connect together are the cars side of those wire and not the clutch side cause the car will not start. after butt connecting those wire if the car starts without the clutch being pressed than your good and finally for the neutral safety wire use the ebrake so what happens is if the ebrake is not up the car will not start. and test those wires make sure you tap onto the wire that has and looses ground cause there is a constant ground that you dont want cause it iwll defeat the purpose. make sure you grab the wire that shows ground only when ebrake is up and shows nothing when ebrake is down.

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.
The remote start feature of the viper 790xv is not compatible with manual transmission equipped vehicles. So no, you do not need an immobilizer bypass nor do you need to bypass the clutch switch.

Do you mean wire or plug. I only see one plug at the clutch but it has 2 wire. If I take out that whole plug then the clutch don't work. So I'm I suppose to take out each wire on the plug and test out which one doesn't work? What wire from the alarm am I suppose to connect to the clutch wire?

Oooo....i think I know what you mean now but if I connect the two wire on the car side together and i'm driving my car how would the car know when i'm pressing or releaseing the clutch? I mean if I connect the two wire and connect them together then wouldn't the clutch have no wire to tell it what to do. Thank for your help.
That basically is a clutch safety switch. Clutch has to be pushed in for the car to start.
