my 2005 suv Landrover se , remote/ alarm got problems :

1) when i remote start , only ignition comes on , won't crank .

2) on my transmiter sometimes it gives me fault signal , just like the alarm goes off , but actually at the car there was nothing at all .

What color start wire did you use?

Will it remote start if you place the key in the ignition switch.

yes , it starts  with key in .

key in box .

Your by-pass isn't working correctly. What by-pass especially is it a 556U?  Also make the vehicle's ACC wire your 2nd. ignition.
