Can anyone tell me the proper way to install the 504d doubleguard shock sensor on a viper 5900 one end of the harness has a green wire loop and the other has a long green wire not hooked to anything i'm not sure which end goes to the alarm brain and which goes to the sensor and what does the green wire hook too. Any help would be appreciated

I always hook to the sensor w/ the loop. If it is the other way, if i remember correctly bc i dont install anymore, there is only single stage, the full trigger.

Just like profuse said. Loop goes on shock sensor end. If you hook it up backwards you get the warning then the alarm always. I didn't hook the extra green wire to anything.

Connect the loop end as mentioned to the sensor end... and the other end to the (-) trigger blue wire on the main harness if it is not gonna be used.  If the other end has a plug, just plug it into your brain multiplexed output.

The loop goes towards the shock sensor. The loose wire is for adding other other sensors. If you aren't using it, tape it off. On the new alarms the green is looped back to the blue at the shock sensor. The green on the alarm side is left loose. This is to add additional sensors.
