Can someone recommend a good DIY remote starter for this vehicle?  I don't need any special features.  The factory keys have keyless entry transmitters, so all I really need is remote start capability.

I have installed a couple remote starters (Design Tech), and am a CBET, so I have a good understanding of electronics, but I'm sure no expert on these.  I'm looking for a unit that will be reliable and have good support documentation for installation.

Thanks in advance.

The first thing is, do you have two keys? That Liberty has Chrysler's Sentry Key......you need some type of product to bypass the car's anti-theft immobilizer during remote start.

Also, you'll need two good keys available to program the bypass module.

As far as product,

Audiovox Prestige APS-901: Great product, comes with two nice one-button remotes......but the instructions are poorly written.

DEI Avital 4103 (I think) or Automate AM6.2 Costs more, but has better instructions.

Yes, I have 2 factory keys.  Looks like the DEI 4113 will work well for me.  Thanks for the reply!
