Can anybody help me with a diagram and wiring schematic from directwire site to help me properly install a viper 5901 in a 2002 ford f150. I used the ford wiring diagram that I found on this site and the instructions that came with the viper alarm, but something is not right. The only thing at all I get from the alarm is when I turn on my light switch I can press the arm button and then the siren sounds, and the remote says panic on the screen. I used (4) total 1 amp diodes on the door triggers ( 2 for the drivers side and 2 for the passenger side) because the diagram I received said to put a diode from the alarm to the door trigger and a diode from the door trigger to the BCM on both sides. I would greatly appreciate anybody who has knowledge with this type of install or with detailed installation instructions helping me out. Thanks so much.

have you verified which wire you have connected your power wire of the alarm to, if you can only activate the alarm when you turn the parking lights, check to see if you have crossed your red wire from the alarm to the parking light wire.

i just read back your post, have you verified your wires with a meter before connecting, or did you wire straight from the diagram posted.?

I wired from the ford f150 diagram I got from this site. My remote start doesn't work either, but that could be a programming issue

everything else seems to work, when I open the hood, doors etc.. while armed the siren goes off. The only other thing I noticed was with my power windows, sometimes while the truck is running I can't power my windows up, I have to turn the key to accessory to power the windows back up

that's not the way to do anything pertaining to electronics, testing with a meter is crucial to any install, first things first before anything else is said here and any advice is followed you should acquire a multimeter and verify your connections, the window issue sounds like an accesory wire hasn't been powered, also have you checked to see if your power wire is connected to a constant 12 volt source, like i mentioned earlier.

dude, check all your wires with the meter, and whatever is not doing what it's supposed to do, then post back,
