alright whats everyones opinion of the best place to mount a rs module in a 00 camaro.im going to soon be installing a python 1601. im also thinking about installing a 530t..if anybody has any tips im open to pointers.

Mount in center of dash or if you want to extend your wires you can mount behind the glove box.

Only remote start or remote start with alarm?

If it's going to be an alarm system and you want everything carefully hidden for security reasons, probably behind the glove box, or even underneath the top part of the dashboard.

The center console is tight on that car but it is possible.

If it's only a remote start, I'd just do it all under the driver's dash and not worry about hiding things.

My '96 RS convertible has plenty of room under the driver's dash behind the panels. Just be sure to zip-tie it to something in there that doesn't move, paying attention to the pedal and steering linkage.
