I have the following information for the wiring below. I was wondering for the resistors what watt is to be used "example 1/4 , 1/2, 1, or etc" for the different ohm sizes and is the resistors really needed? Thanks
Alarm/Remote Start Info:
Battery (+): RED + IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Starter 1: YEL + IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Ignition 1A(+): DRK. BLU IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Ignition 2A(+): RED + IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Ignition 2B(+): RED / WHT + IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Accessory (+): BLK/WHT + IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Tach Sensor: RED / BLK OR BLK/GRY AT COIL ON DRV.SIDE OF ENGINE
Key Sensor: BLU (-) IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Neutral Safety: BLK/WHT (-) IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS
Brake: WHT/TAN + AT BRAKE SWITCH
Reverse Lights: VIO/BLK (+) 16 PIN GRY CONN DRIVERS DASH
Window Roll-Up:
LF:LT.BLU
RF:BRN/WHT
Window Roll-Down:
LF:WHT
RF:VIO/WHT
Door Trigger: BRN DRIVERS B PILLAR
Parking Lights: VIO/YEL - RELAY ISOLATE GROUND W/320 OHM RESISTOR
Headlights: PURPLE / YELLOW 680 OHM RESISTOR,SAME AS PARK LIGHTS
Pwr Door Lock: WHITE/ GREEN - DR. KICK USE 680 OR 815 OHM RESISTOR
Pwr Door Unlock: WHITE/ GREEN - DR. KICK PANEL USE 320 OHM RESISTOR
Horn: BLK/RED (-) 74 PIN CONN BEHIND DR. DASH OR COLUMN
Factory Disarm: LT.GRN/ORG(-) DR. KICK GROUND PULSE THROUGH 1500 OHM
DR. Mtr Unlck: PNK/BLK + LEFT KICK PANEL
DR. Motor lock: ORG/BLK + LEFT KICK PANEL
Factory Alarm: LT.GRN/ORG(-) DR. KICK GROUND PULSE THROUGH 760 OHM
Passenger Unlck: PNK/VIO + LEFT KICK PANEL
DOOR TRIGGER ALSO AT TIMER MOD
USE TAN FOR DR. DOOR AND BLK/LT.BLU FOR PASS DOOR DIODE ISOLATE
FACT ARM/DISARM WIRE WILL LOCK DOOR / 2 PULSE FOR UNLOCK

any of those wattages are fine. i typically use 1/4 watt. just be within 10% of the resistance value.

You will also need relays such as the DEI 451. If I remember the 350 oly has low current flip-flop outputs rather than relay driven so you will need that for the locks.

I have a problem and need some help. I installed a VIPER 350HV in my truck with the resistors and etc with all wiring correct and was working. I decided to reprogram the alarm for passive arming and accidently reprogrammed the remote which should be arm/disarm for panic. So at this point I don't have a way to disarm the alarm. I looked in the manual and saw there was a way to disarm the alarm with the "disarming without a transmitter" however maybe I am not doing this correct and can't get the alarm to stop going off since it is still armed through passive. I also tried unplugging the power and ground however once reconnected it just starts going off again, any ideas?

With the "disarming without a transmitter" you are suppose to put the key in the ignition in the on position and press the valet button one - five pulses to disarm the alarm however this option I never programmed and didn't see an option in the install manual or maybe there is a default setting and I am not doing it correctly. If correct after 5 seconds the alarm is suppose to disarm. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
