Noob Questions. Where do I connect (-)Dome Light Output on a 96 Toyota Camry? Also to connect the trunk pin do I have to run a wire all the way back to the trunk?

Does your instrument panel have Icons (warning lights) for door and trunk when they are open? If so using your DMM find which wires they are and use them for door and trunk trigger. You can also at the same time access the rear of the rev counter for tach. It might be quicker than going to the rear. (Follow the circuit tracks on the back of the guages) Does your dome light stay on for about 30 secs when you enter the car and shut the door or until you turn on the ignition? If so you don't need to connect dome supervision. If it doesn't go to the dome light, there should be three wires. One will be constant pos, one constant ground and one possibly RED / white will go to ground when any door is opened. That's the dome light supervision cable. You can probably trace it back to the kick panel or A pillar area. Just reading Mr. Idiot's post that RED / white is probably door trigger and dome light in one.
