Hello, I just bought a 99 dodge ram 1500 extended cab and discovered it has a remote start but there is no remote with it. The unit has a Chrysler part number but the 2nd digit has been erased so I believe it is as follows (minus the 2nd digit) : 5_045183AD. Does anyone know what this unit can do and how I can get a replacement remote for it? Also, the truck did not come with a remote for the doors so I am not sure if this unit can lock and unlock the doors too or if I need to get a separate remote for that. Thanks for the help.

How do you know it's a remote start?
