I have an AstroFlex Serie 120 in a 1995 Jeep Cherokee. It was working great, but blew a fuse and now I can't get the remotes to work.
I have found the installation and programming instructions, but they don't say anything about programming the remote.
Is there anyone who can help me?
Thanks
Have both remotes when programming.
find the brain, put dip switch #8 in the up/on postion.
Next, hit the brake pedal 1 time. The brain should react with clicks....
after that, hit unlock on both remotes, one after the other. The brain should react again with each remote button pushed.
When this is done, flip dip#8 into the down/off position, and hit the brake pedal. You should be done now!

I had already tried the Pin 8 trick. It didn't work.
I just tried it again. When I turn Pin 8 "ON" and press the brake, I do not hear anything from the "brain".
Any other suggestions?
Check the receiver cable at both ends. Make sure it's plugged in properly. (at the receiver, and the brain)
Check to make sure the foot brake connection is solid as well.
This is how the procedure is done, it's in level 1 of the programming menu.
When you hit the brake with pin 8 up, does the led on the brain flash?

I registered at this forum specifically for programming a Serie 120. This advice I found here helped me reset my remote after a Lebeau dealer left it in "programming" mode.
However the above was not quite accurate for me:
Pressing the brake after flipping the 8 pin up canceled the whole process.
I had to flip the 8 dip up, press any key on my remote (unlock) and THEN press and hold the brake for 10 seconds (heard a click after 10 seconds) to "save" the changes. Then 8 dip back off. Repeat: I did not press the break until AFTER pressing a key on my remote.
Also the entire process only worked with my key in the ignition and set to "on" (engine was off).
Hope this helps and saves someone money like it did for me.
