A negative pinswitch wire will read a positive voltage when the door is closed. The bulb is supplied voltage and it is waiting for the pinswitch to ground it. I am not familiar with the plugs you are talking about, but having positive voltage on a negative pinswitch wire, or vice versa is normal.
G.W.A. = ground output when armed. This wire is generally used to ground the LED and also the Starter kill relay. When you cut the start wire, connect the key side of that wire to terminals 86 and 30. GWA to 85. Starter side of the wire you cut goes to 87A.
thanks alot sorry for the delay serious family illness, you got me back upwright on door pins THANKS im still confused i thought the 5901 had on board relays for ign.1,2,and start kill isn"t the ign.2 flex relay onboard from factory ive read so mutch research i beleave the sun will set in the east tonight . any idea's?
I have never experienced the joy of a DEI alarm. I really have no idea about what they have on the board. Sorry. Maybe some of the alarm guys can help you.
You'll use the Green door trigger wire from the main harness on the 5900 for the door trigger input.
The on board RS relays are for Ign 1 and 2 (2 is FLEXable), Acc, and Starter.
