I have a 97 Pontiac grand am which i am putting in a viper 791xv in . Im having a problem with the light flash. I have it to the brown wire under the dash that give on a positive reading when i turn on the hazards. Am i not doing this correct? i had the alarm in a 97 olds achieva and never had a problem please help me out on finding the correct wire. Thanks a bunch.

It should be a brown wire that has 12volts when you turn on the parking light's...
