I installed a compustar FT 5200s into an 03 Explorer over the winter. About two months later her truck would not shut off with the key. She said that she started it with the key, not the transmitter. When I looked at it all the connections seemed fine including the brake. I also tried pressing and holding the transmitter(one button)...nothing.
I then removed the brain(the car promptly shut off) returned it for a warranty exchange, replaced it, reprogrammed the blade and sent her on her way. Today, some months later...same problem. Any ideas? Anyone have a similar experience? I cant help but think its a problem with the unit but I have installed many of them and this vehicle is the only one to come back. strange....

What version are you running on the CM5200 ?

I dont have the specific info any longer, the unit is on its way back. I did, however; update it to their latest version back in early Feb. along with the Blade cartridge.

hey i was wondering i installed the cm5200 on a camry 1995 it woundlnt start it gives me threee blinks and then a 4th blink after 4 seconds so 4 blinks in total but three blinks consisitent. i used the yellow wire under the the engine cover.
