Has anyone tried to turn off passive arming on the factory installed alarm on an 02 Subaru WRX.
It is made by alpine and the owners manual does tell about unplugging a white 2 pin connector labelled pass.
When i unplugged this connector,went into active arming,but the power windows stopped working.
I had to plug the connector back but would really like to turn off passive arming.
Any info will be very much appreciated.

I just looked at the wrx manual...it says that it has to be done by dealer...will see if i can find out anything else for you
