Hello,

My girlfriend has a cheap alarm she had installed a few years ago with the name "Vision" on the remote and the alarm box. I was fixing the ring on the remote for her keyring and now it no longer works. The battery came out during this process, but I put it back in and it still isn't working. I'm wondering if it's a programming issue of some sort, but the problem is that I can't find any information on this alarm. There is no model number or anything, I found a company called "Vision Security" located in Japan, but they told me this unit is not theirs as they don't manufacture in Korea. The remote says "Vision" on it and is black with blue buttons. Inside the circuit board only says "Falcon" on it. The black alarm box says "Vision" and "Made in Korea", has a serial number, but there are no other markings on it. Any ideas? I was able to get the alarm disarmed by turning the key on/off a number of times, but need to get things fixed this weekend. Thanks for any info in advance!

Tim

The technical answer is chuck it in a bin.

That is kind of what I'm leaning towards, maybe just get something cheap, but at least a brand I've heard of to replace this one. I can't find anything on what's already there posted_image
