Has anyone noticed a difference in the sirens for the new ultra start pro series alarms and r/s alarms? The last dozen or so I received sound horrible. They are supposed to be 6 tone and they are only a dual tone, and they sound semi muted and garbled. Are they all like this now or did I get a bad batch? The distributor said thats the way they come now, but he could be feeding me a line.

So the siren on your pro series is a true six tone siren, super loud like they used to have? I wonder why this batch I got is different? The siren is just horrible sounding compared to the old ones. The wire harnesses arent the same quality they used to be. Maybe I need to try a new distributor. Thanks for the input though.

Hmmmmmm...some voodoo...or jinxing...Yes it was NOT a 6 tone...And on this one we did today , the arm and dis-arm chirps sounded kind of garbled...but full trigger was plenty loud...

Yes thats exactly what I'm experiancing. I wish they had never changed the sirens. Oh well I don't know what else to do. Most of the guys I've installed these for don't like the siren sound at all.

Im thinking of trying out wiring a relay inline to boost the power to the siren. I'll see how that works then post the results.
