hello guys,i got a question about varad scanner it is possible to be wired like this ? black [ ground ] using diode isolate band face to the brain and to the orange wire ground when armed and red to 12 volt .and cut the yellow out.?

i used to install these at a retail shop i was at and i believe you can but where is it asking you to hook the yellow wire up to?
