hey guys. running into a problem with this system. just started a new job working by myself and tech support isn't always open.

now the problem is that I've installed 2 of these clifford systems. one in a 2009 civic, one in a 2001 300m. the problem i'm having with both cars is that when the starter is engaged, the locks don't function. also, the doors unlock upon remote start.

now I'm more used to compustar, and I know that compustar has a programmable setting for relock after remote start. just grabbing in the air here, but does dei have the same thing? also how could it be that the locks don't do anything when the car is running off the remote start?

I'm used to running arm/disarm wires instead of lock/unlock wires most of the time, and that's what I've done on these cars. however the civic came back with this trouble and I switched the disarm wire for the unlock wire and no change. obviously the system disarms before remote start, but why would it pulse the unlock wire?

these things are making me hate dei. much less I just did an alarm in an astro that worked fine until it lost programming when the battery died.

dei is causing me headaches :S

Try using your lock and unlock wires in the 2 pin harness you light green and blue. Good luck
