Vehicle:
2008 Ford Edge
Plan:
Install dual heated seat kit (with high/low settings) that comes with a rocker switch to activate high or low heat setting.
I plan to buy the Ford Edge heated seat switches to use instead of the rocker switches that come with the heated seat kit.
Question:
How do I wire the Ford Edge momentary heated seat switch in place of the rocker switch that comes with the heated seat kit? The Ford switches are designed for high or low heated seat settings.
Anyone have access to the Ford Edge heated seat switch pinouts?
looking at the diagram and a 2007 we have here it looks like the switchs are built into the Hvac control head then the signals go to another control module
do you have the switches already ?

I do not have the switches, currently.
They are ~$25/ea through Ford.
If that's the case then all the seats in the Edge must be wired for heated seats just without the switches and the heater pads, correct?
I found this for a newer F-150 (should be similar) I would think for the wiring:
Ford Heated Seat
OK for Passenger side wire colors, Cxxx are the connectors (Best i can do):

Looks like I could pop the switches in, install the heated seat pads on the seat and then run the wires from the aftermarket pads to the under seat harness?
not sure do you have manual and EATC heater controls ? i found the switches it looks like pin 1 is ground pin 2 is off/low normaly grounded pin 3 low indictor power side pin 4 is high indicator power side pin 5 is backlighting pin 6 is off/high normally grounded pins 2,3,4 and 6 go to a seperate heated seat module all the pins share ground on pin 1
Hope this helps
