before I tear open the dash again, just wanted to see if anyone has a solution first.

car is a 2000 Grand Caravan

Everything works fine except when I arm the system. I get three chirps telling me a door is open. I checked and made sure all the doors were completely close and still nothing. Only thing I can think of right now is that we switched the polarity settings and it may be on the wrong one. Will this cause the issue I'm having? If not, what could be causing it? I will check it tomorrow.

I used the BROWN / white(dome light). Would that make a difference?

You have to use the RED / WHITE wire for the door trigger on the Compustar system.

I did use the RED / white from the alarm and connected it to the BROWN / white in the car.

Did it Always do this...? I dont think the wrong polarity would do that, but not to familiar w/ comp systems...Time to bust out the meter and see whats going on...What polarity is the dome light...Just go ahead and switch it and see if problem goes away...If negative trigger...Put red lead in 12v...Probe door trigger w/ black lead...Roll window down and open and shut the door...Whats it reading...?

Upon further review...I think i do remember a car coming back due to 3 chirps during arming and it was the wrong door trigger wire off of alarm(system had a wire for + and -). So give it a try...Test first...

CM4000

There's a jumper that is set for (-) or (+) polarity for the CM4000. Make sure it's set for (-). Also, the BROWN / WHITE wire you used is not right, use the BROWN / GREEN wire at the same location and set the polarity for (-) at the jumper pins.

I'll give it a try later on. The thing is I used the BROWN / white for my old Viper and it worked fine.
