I have a 2008 f350 w/ the Ford Gold alarm/remote start. I think I have the program instructions but cannot seem to enter program mode. I want to change my start time from 30 seconds to 5 seconds. How do I get into program mode??? Thanks -mayo

Why will the dealer not do this for you? This is a dealer installed unit, is it not?

I'd rather do it myself in 10 min than take a full day to have a dealer do something for me........ anyone know how? Thanks

what does the remote look like is it the new gold or the older gold 4 or 6 button remote

what are you looking to change ?? if your looking to shorten the diesel timer you cant on these unfortunaly option bank 4 number 5 you can only turn diesel mode on or off

So then I want to turn it off - then it will start in 5 seconds

ok turn your key on find the button under the dash and hold it down for about 10 seconds the horn will beep 3 times release the button and press it again it will beep 4 times do this until you get 7 beeps then release the button then using the remote press the red panic button till you get 5 beeps the LED on the dash should be lit use the remotes lock button to turn it off do not hit the unlock on the remote at all it will set all the programming back to default and some if not all of your starter will stop working
