What year is the car?   You really need to use a meter to see which of the 2 wires shows ground when the key is inserted into the ignition switch.

what is this WHITE/ blue? it's not from the primary 12pin harness is it?

can't just pick any, you gotta make sure it shows (-) when the key is inserted.

With a digital meter set the the Ohms function. Touch and hold the tip of the red lead to the tip of the black lead.  Notice the reading.  Now touch and hold the black lead to the chassis of the car or the outer ring of the cigarette lighter socket.  Now touch the red lead to one of the wires in question, notice the reading, now insert the key into the ignition, notice the reading now.  With the key in the ignition, the meter should read very near the initial reading of the meter when you touched the leads together.   If that wire does not act right, check the other one.

What kind of a remote start are you using?   Is it designed for a manual transmission.

Clifford Matrix 50.5, no.
Great information on testing for the correct wires.

all of the new generation DEI alarm/RS are manual tranny friendly.

majority of ppl, if not all, use power from the ignition harness coming from the fuse box that you might have encountered. for hondas, it's white.
