i am having a problem installing my new alarm. This is my first install and everything is basically working except for the power lock feature.  I cross referenced my previous alarm and was able to tap into the old wires for horn/ignition cut off/shock sensor but the power locks are working.  The car is a 96 honda civic ex.  I received instructions on for about four different types of locking systems and am not sure which one i have- they gave me an actuator as well but i had power locks previously so would i need this?  right now the unlock wire is going directly to the unlock and the same for lock - i must be missing a step someewhere - please let me know if you need any more info thanx-

To left of the under dash fuse block, you should find a blue 16 pin connector. There will be a GREEN / WHITE lock wire and a GREEN/ Orange unlock wire. They will show a negative pulse for their respective functions. Your alarm should have the capability for negative pulse doorlocks. Check your install manual for proper configuration. Also, test your doorlock outputs to make sure the alarm is functioning properly. Hope this helps.
