I have a 97 BMW 328I convertible. I have a viper 550esp in this car. My question is this. If I use 2 530T's to run the 4 windows up and down and the 529T to run the top can I Connect all three modules together so when I use 1 channel it lowers all 4 windows and the top and use a different channel to raise all 4 windows and the top? I was thinking I could use the ground when armed orange wire without diodes or something to make this work.

You should be able to use one trigger to accomplish each task . You can't use the GROUND OUT WHEN RUNNING wire to do this because it will only work when you try to remote start the vehicle. Use the starter disable wire instead for rolling the windows up when armed. Then use another AUX channel for the roll down of the windows. Just remember that it will do this to all windows all the time, everytime. This may get annoying after a while when you have to roll up the rear windows everytime you get in.posted_image

Why would I have to roll up the rear windows everythime I get in? The way I understand it If you press the aux button before arming, the windows and top won't move, but will move to the closed position if you only arm, is this correct?

Sorry, I thought it was a 4 door ( should have looked a bit harder to see that it's a 2 dr. convertible ). Question.... does the rear quarter windows automatically roll down for you when you lower the top ?

Hey....just an idea.
I have my 530t hooked up so that when I hit a button on the remote, the windows roll down. Peachy. Then, if I want them to roll up, I just disarm the car, and re-arm it and they roll up the way they should. So I got the "up" feature without needing another channel.

yes all the windows roll down and then the top starts to go down. After the top is all the way down and you keep holding the top button, the windows roll all the way back up or maybe just to the middle. When you roll up the top the windows will aldo close. I know if I send a pulse to the lock wire it will close the top and the windows. I have tried to run the top and windows throught the switch in the dash but it only works when the car has power how did you hook yours up?
