Just installed a Clifford 50.7x in 2002 Jeep Wrangler manual transmission. Very basic install, no door locks, no factory alarm.

Because of the manual trans, a procedure has to be followed before exiting the vehicle to initiate the remote start. The procedure ends with the occupants exiting the vehicle with the keys removed, engine running, doors closed, and when the alarm is armed it kills the ignition. The problem is when the ignition is killed by arming the alarm it sets off the dome light in which the alarm sees as an intrusion and disables the remote start.

Is it possible to program the alarm to ignore the dome when the ignition is shutoff?

Is there a way to wire arround the dome, but still keep the doors active?

Don't think you can use the domelight, You will need to use independent door triggers.

Drivers door is tan - left of steering column. Passenger Tan / YELLOW @ same. I don't have any wire listed for the rear, hopefully someone else will chime in.

If any body can tell me if I wired everything right would be a great help. This is the way I wired it, and if I need to change something please let me know.

This is a 2002 Jeep Wrangler with Manual Trans, no door locks, defrost, or factory alarm, so many of the wires from the alarm are not used.

Could not get the link to work.

I did find the TAN & TAN / YELLOW wires to the doors, there are no wires to the rear gate.

To hook up these two wires doI need to put diodes on each one? If they are tied together the dome just stays on.

Hooked up the Tan & Tan / YELLOW with diodes to the H1/8 (Green) wire, and it works the way it should.

Still one problem, It will only remote start if you push the clutch in.

The install instructions say to attach the Neutral Safety Input (BLACK/ White) to the E-Brake, there is nothing about the clutch.

Any ideas how to wire this in? Keep in mind the E-Brake still has to operate off this Blk/W wire because of the initiation sequence.

Can the clutch be bypassed by connecting the H1/12 (Orange (-) 500mA GROUND WHEN ARMED OUTPUT) directly to the clutch switch?

Just connect the remote starter wire directly on the yellow/red for the (clutch bypass) instead of at the ignition switch. If you want to keep the starter kill then cut the yellow/red in two. starter in to the clutch side and starter out to the car side of the yellow/red wires
