I'm not too educated on what kind of alarm systems are on the market and which is the best for my scenario. So I was hoping someone here might know. I'm currently restoring a 1981 Jeep Scrambler and want to keep a some what expensive sound system in it. However, this is a Jeep and is really easy to break in to. So what is the best kind of alarm for it since there is very little electronics in the Jeep to begin with. For those who don't know what a Scrambler is, it is longer than a wrangler but has a two-seater cab. No power locks or anything. Let me know what would be best for this situation. Thanks.

Ryan

Buy a center console through a magazine for jeeps (etc.) that offer the locking center console that you can bolt down. That solves one part of LOCKING up your stereo. Out of sight out of mind is the first step. Make everything hard to remove. A good alarm is the next thing. there are too many to list. A proximity sensor is a good idea.
