here is my problem, if it doesnt make sense just bare with me... so i bought a glass break sensor and a proxi sensor, i got this idea that i could just hook them up the the default shock sensor by hooking up the RED / black wires and the blue/green wires... so i put them in-line and then i noticed that the proxi sensor would only kick on when the shock sensor was touched... and i was thinking well maybe the proxi sensor needed different 12volt and ground... so i hooked them up to a different 12volt (to the battery) and to a different ground.... well the proximity sensor started working and when i set the alarm and moved close to it, it would trigger my alarm and go off... i figured everything was cool, but then i noticed that the shock sensor stopped... i thought i had burnt out the shock sensor... well i checked out the shock sensor and hooked it up to 12volt and ground and it still works! but i guess i burnt something out inside of the alarm....
so to make this long story short, i need to know how i can hook my shock sensor back up, im guessing either the positive or negative on the sensor plug is burnout, i figured i would just use the plug for the blue/green wires but maybe put the RED / black wires straight to the battery? would this be safe? or would it mess things up?
if any other info is needed to help me please let me know

oh by the way, i have the proximity sensor and the glass break sensor both unhooked... i just want my shock sensor working again
then after i get that hooked up and working i will post another asking how to hook up the glass break sensor and proximity sensor... heh

Disconnect the main fuse on the alarm/remote starter that you have and then try to go through the entire reprogeramming of the system again. You did not mention what system you are using so I am going to assume that it has internal adjustments for the shock sensor. If you have a reset button on the inside of the CP of the alarm, press this and then try your impact sensor again. Next time you want to use numerous triggering devices that share the same trigger on the CPU of the alarm, you must diode isolate the wires from each other and do not use the same power and ground as the device that you are trying to splice into rather extend the wires and go straight to the power wire and ground of the system. This will eliminate an stress on the 20 gauge wire that the impact sensor wires have.
