Okay, I've got a 1998 Chevrolet Cheyenne Pickup truck. It didn't have keyless entry from factory, and I'm trying to hookup the keyless entry through the DEI Valet 562T. I think the truck is a 5 wire lock system. How do I get the locks to work with this unit?

lock is LT. BLUE
unlock is WHITE
you will need to cut these in half

use 2 relays and wire as follows

pins 87 and 85 go to constant 12 volts

pin 30 goes to motor side of cut wire

pin 87a goes to switch side of cut wire

pin 86 goes to either blue or green which ever you are doing lock or unlock   treat the lock wire coming from the alarm as negitive

if you need more help wiring the relay there is a diagram at the top of the page under relays
