Put a DEI badge on it then, The odds of it working will still be about the same. Lol Has some cool features. 4 car capable. Gives date and time history of triggers. I wonder how much a replacement touch screen transmitter will cost. I think I'll call my distributor tomorrow, and see how much I can get one for, although, I'm not sure If I would get rid of my trusty and reliable Compustar for this unit.

So, we got our hands on one of these today. The brain is nicely built....feels a little more solid than previous Crimestopper stuff, and is surprisingly small. Still not sure if I like the 2 way transmitter yet. It's too light....which has always been a complaint of mine about Crimestopper transmitters. Not to mention, when you shake the transmitter, you can hear the antenna spring just bouncing around inside the transmitter.

We didn't have much time to play around with it today, but hopefully I can mess with it some more tomorrow. Here is a link to the operations manual I uploaded. https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/file.asp?ID=785

The new remote should go to BLACK/ white in the sun to make it easy to see.
They corrected that so you could see it.
For it working. I have never had a prob with crimestopper stuff except bad batts in the remotes
been installing crime for more than 15 years
What DEI badge should i use the bulldog badge? lol Thats the best unit they make.

Why y'all beatin down DEI like that! I won't have it, lol, c'mon guys i love dei, i've been using their stuff for quite a few years and i barely ever have problems with them. Except that their units always slip into valet mode, and the customers come back saying the alarm quit on them. . Cheers i like the touchscreen idea, mike can you re-badge one with the viper badge from dei, then i might consider trying em. ------------- COMMIT YOUR WAY TO JEHOVAH AND HE WILL ACT IN YOUR BEHALF.
