I am trying to install a astrostart 2100 into my 1996 suzuki esteem and the starter will crank when you press the remote start but as soon as it starts it quits. I believe it is a tach signal already present error any help with this is greatly appreciated. also i need to know the power lock wire codes on this same model.

Where are you getting your tach signal from? Did you verify a signal?

The locks are negative trigger. What is it you need to know about the locks, the vehicle location/color, or how to wire the lock

harness on the astro? Any ways... ground the wires on the lock harness that have the fuses on them. These are connected to

pins 87 of a standard relay. Brown will be your lock output, and blue will be your unlock output! These are pins 30.

On your rig, lock is brown, and unlock is BROWN / yellow.

Did you move your tach connection? In your post on where you have it currently, you did not sound sure!
