I have an old VIper 600 alarm system and I want to remove the siren as I never use the alarm any longer. The system is equipped with starter kill.  If I remove the siren will the door lock feature still work or will the starter kill activate?

Thanks.

if its not an all in one unit, you should be able to without any problems.

thanks, the heat from the engine bay of 18 years finally destroyed the mount and I found it hanging on my plug wires (91 Mustang)...............I only use it for door lock/unlock feature.
