I have an Ford Code Systems RS installed and working except for the parking lights, the wiring calls for a violet/white trace wire in the drivers kick panel. I've found several matching wires but none test correctly. The brake also the same color wire and one of the wires in the kick panel shows 12V when the brake is depressed. Any other way to id the correct wire? or location.

If you have the right brake wire, it will show 12 volts when the pedal is depressed. Release the pedal and the 12 volts goes away, I would have to believe that this is the correct wire. I have the same info you have for the parking lights. ------------- Let's Go Brandon Brown. Congratulations on your first Xfinity Series Win. LGBFJB

Yep, parklights are violet/white. They are in the huge harness against the firewall, and runs down into the kick panel.

Whhaat? I don't get it? I'm confirming a location....i'm not confirming a polarity....he already has tech info that says violet/white.....now it is his job to find the wire, and test with a multimeter.

For the brake, just go directly to the brake switch.... the wire will test 12 volts when the brake pedal is pressed down. Not that the wire can't be found elsewhere...but I would take it directly from the source if you can't find it in the kick.
