Like the configuration above, the switch, when moved in either direction, applies both power and ground directly to motor legs  without the use of any relays. Except, at the switch in this case, both motor legs rest at ground . Therefore it is only necessary to change the polarity of one motor leg to lock or unlock the vehicle.

Above is an example of a 5 wire relay setup.  I have no idea if it is accurate for your vehicle.  If your car calls for a 5 wire negative setup, let us know.  It will be easily adapted to your need.

Didn't Nissans also use a 1 wire system which went to gorund to unlock and open circuit to lock?  Or even vice versa?

Another thought.  Anyone actually looked on a very good site called "The 12Volt.com" it gives Orange as lock and purple as double pulse unlock, neg going, both in driver's door?

the wire always gets a ground then when it unlocks it loses the ground for a quick second. Dont know if that helps. The12volt.com does say orange for lock and purple for unlock but locks the driver door but will not unlock the door. I got my paperwork from an old program from DEI and it says Orange to lock, purple to unlock double pulse and yellow is for driver unlock and purple on single pulse will just turn off the factory alarm but will not unlock.

Think the yellow must be driver's unlock motor wire, wired as per 5 wire, i.e. sits on neg and goes momentary pos on lock. Lock using neg from alarm to Orange, unlock using the yellow to do driver's door only then unlock using secondary unlock through the purple. It's much easier to do neg lock/unlock with a pre-set double unlock.

i have the lock and unlock working its just that the unlock for the driver door isnt the orange or purple. Should i use a relay and give the wire a positive just to unlock. Scared i might damaged the cars electrical trying to do things i havent done before.

Do it the way Mr. Idiot shows on the right hand relay in his diagramme. Connecting it any other way will blow the fuse on the constant supply wire or if you haven't fused it have the fire extinguisher handy.
