Hello. About 7 years ago I purchased a code alarm 2 way car alarm for my honda civic. It has a Proximity on it and it has worked fine. I just had the car totally redone with a new paint job. I also put a new battery in it because the car was dead. Over the past 7 years I lost my remote and one actually broke so I purchased a new code alarm 2 way remote that look just like the one I had in years past.   However I am having a problem programming it. Any suggestions??? The remote came with very very vague instructions so I figured Id ask a some pro's at it .

this website has all of the manuals for the Code Alarm systems, you just need to sign up for a username/account for access:

https://techservices.codesystems.com/

see if you can look under your dash and find the brain unit and see what model number is on it
