hello, 1982 ford fairmont futura the immobilizer circuit for aed. i hooked it up in the n/c configuration, turned key off but no starter interruption. tried n/o could not start with key. did i miss something in the instructions?

Yellow wire to ign., common to key side of starter, N.C. to starter side, will only work when alarm is on.

AED will only become active thirty seconds agter the engine is switched off!
