I was lucky enough to get an access code a year or so ago, I've passed the code to one of my fellow 12 Volt members in the US but it fails to work other than when I use it so any info anyone wants I have to download and personally pass on.

not only do you have to have a login, but it's also ip based. recommend to maybe consult other sites for free (i.e.-audiovox, bulldog, the12volt)

Which is why KTM couldn't use my code, having said that I've used it from the computors in retail car audio outlets to whom I contract.

I just joined a couple days ago. I had to phone dei to get my email address reset to be able to join. They have newer vehicles wiring on the site versus the old site was very dated. There is also a forum which has alot more activity than the old site. The site is directechs.com even though it comes up as .ca

tommy, it helps to have known the tech and general mangers on a personal basis, knew them when it was Clifford, then DEI and a whole new batch of people but then with last years implosion, UK was sold off to a major UK peripherals manufacturer/ importer the same two were headhunted for the DEI division, and the main tech even kept his cell number. Ah I love continuity.

And STILL, when you call..... your on hold forever, wasting time....not working. Don't dare hang up and call back... you go to the back of the line! Thats the one thing I worried about when DEI purchased Astro. When you call Astro you input your dealer ID and password, leave a message, and they call you back! Keep working.....

You need to be a dei dealer. They just switched the canadian directechs over to the american site. You have to register to the web site. My email address didn't work in there registration so i had to phone them and have them enter my email address.
