I just recently installed a Viper 5002..the antenna cord is fully extended, the dipole antenna is mounted top center of windshield. The one way remote communicates fine but the paging remote has very poor range and you have to point it directly at the vehicle to get it to transmit. You also have to press the button several times before it transmits. The only tint on the glass is factory smoked glass along the top of the windshield. I am considering deleting this transmitter and re assigning it to see if it makes any difference. Would appreciate any input or ideas on what the problem is. thanks
