I installed a valet 552t in a 2010 Toyota Sienna and everything works fine except for the parking lights. At first I hooked up the White parking light output to Green wire (+) at Fuse box. But after testing the system the rear tail lights fuse kept blowing. So after further research I found out this wire cant be used because the factory relay rests at ground. So I switched the white wire to GREEN/ black (-) which is at headlight switch, white 17 pin plug, pin 14. I got the info here Tech sheet for 2010 Toyota Sienna. I also changed the jumper on the remote to negative output. But now when I remote start the car you can here the parking light relay flickering on and off. Also the lights flicker to. Why would this be happening?

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Steve

I also need to add that according to https://techservices.audiovox.com the GREEN/ black (-) is a low current wire. Not sure if this makes a difference.

Thanks Steve

You do seem to have the correct wire on the rig. Have you tried wireing up a relay to give a good STRONG ground?

Go to the original green + wire at the fusebox, set your white light output for pos and do the following:- cut the green wire and use a relay as follows... white form alarm to relay 86, ground to 85, green, fusebox side to 87a, light output side of green to 30 and constant 12v+, fused at the same rating as that on the fuse box to 87.
