This refers to any DEI responder model (Viper/Clifford/Python) and the menu item 3-11:
3-11 2nd Status Output: Normal (1) Latched (2) Pulsed (3): This feature allows selection of status output or a rear defogger mode that turns on ten seconds after the vehicle has started if the vehicle interior temperature is below 55 degrees F. The defogger mode has two selections, latched, or pulsed. Latched mode only stays on for 10 minutes.
What I can't find any info on is the pulsed signal. I assume it's just a single pulse 10 seconds after the car is started? How long is the pulse? Anyone know?
Also, is there any difference between a pulsed signal and a momentary signal?
Thanks!

Pulse =momentary, timed = however long you set it, latched means it will activate and stay activated.
