Ok I have a 2002 4 door ford ranger. I am hooking up a DEI Hornet 553T Remote start. I have everything working just a question My car has two accessory wires. One controls the air and heat wich is the one I have hooked into the remote start. The other controls the radio. I was concerned that maybe I needed to use a relay and hook up this other accessory wire just in case something is going on that I am not aware of. My question then is it neccessary to hook up both accessory wires on the ford ranger yes or no. Thank you for the help.

I've done a 2002 Explorer Sport Trac, and a handful of Rangers of various years. I never powered up the radio on any of them, and none have come back.
As a general rule, after your install is done, activate the remote start and let the car run a little bit. If all the gauges work, the heater and air conditioner work, and there are no warning lights on, you are usually okay.
