I am installing a Universal Learning Bypass Module on my 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP.

I need to connect a wire on the 8 pin harness to a 12v constant power fused at 3 amps. I don't know where to find a wire that is already fused at 3 amps on or near the steering column. Does anyone know how to find that out, or should I try to find a 3 amp inline fuse to connect to the wire?

You could prolly search that entire car and you won't find a twelve volts fused at three amps, lol, what that means is, you would have to fuse your power wire with a three amp fuse! posted_image

That's kinda what i thought.

Any idea on where to get a 3a inline fuse? I have looked a little with no success.

Thanks

You can make your own. I've done this thousands of times installing and it works fine. I tape the electrical connectors together with electrical tape. Works fine for fusing small current devices (less than 15 amps).
