Just installed the 564t in my 96 blazer. ive checked and recheck wires. blazer starts but S.E.S. light comes on, and when remote started the transmission shifts very hard. I realize this is bad and not to try to drive the vehicle like that. From what i have searched this is something common with the 2nd ignition connection. Im pretty sure all connections are good and everything wired correctly. My only conclusion is maybe something up with second ignition wire but i dont know how or what to test or try. if that wire is dead by chance would the vehicle start? Can i try to use the 3 ignition output to a relay? if so how do i wire that?
R/S Wire to Vehicle Wire
Purple ------ Starter Side Yellow
Green ------ Key Side Yellow
Pink ------ Pink Ignition 1
Pink/White------- Pink/White Ignition 2
Orange ----- Orange Accessory
PURPLE / White ------ White at Coil
Brown----- White at Brake switch
Is there a link to the manual...Or...List all the wires in the ignition harness off of remote start...Most come with a 2nd ignition/acc/starter output...Sounds like you defitnely need to power up another ignition...

https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/alarmdetail/434.html 95-97 S10 blazer. Vehicle wiring off this site. i used this as a guide, and tested the wires before hooking it up, i dont recall a white wire in the bundle but this i will check on. the 2nd ignition wire that i hooked up was pink/white in vehicle. the guide on this site says brown is ignition 3, but from reading on here that is more of an accessory for radio and what not and i did not hook that up.
The manual can be downloaded here https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/downloads.asp?srch=all&term=564t. in my first post i listed the remote start wires from R/S to the vehicle wires i used. the colors actually match the vehicle wiring. only thing i didnt show that i hooked up are the 2 12v(+) from R/S wires, one to red at steering column and one to distribution box underhood, also the main Brain harness for parking lights, 12v power, ground and neutral switch.
OK all wiring is correct. My Pink/White wire from remote start isnt powering the Pink/White wire for my 2nd ignition wire, so i guess its dead.
The alarm has a " Pink (-) 200mA 3rd Ignition output" . Can I wire a relay off this wire, or run a relay off the 1st ignition wire? How would i wire the relay?< color=#231f20 size=2 face=Gen_Helvetica>< color=#231f20 size=2 face=Gen_Helvetica>< color=#231f20 size=2 face=Gen_Helvetica>
You can use either...Heres the diagram for the pink (-) third ignition output...
Convert a Negative Output to a Positive Output |
If you have a switch or an alarm or keyless entry that has a negative output that you wish to use to switch a device that requires 12V+ such as a horn, dome light, parking lights, head lights, hatch release, etc., wire a relay as shown below to convert the negative output (trigger) to a positive output. Here's the same configuration showing a negative output from an alarm or remote keyless entry used to activate a trunk release solenoid that requires 12V+ to release the trunk. |

I believe that once the fault code is triggered, the tranmission is set to limp mode. You may need to reset the PCM before it will operate properly. I think it is a P0560 code that is set when this happens. Pull the code(s) to confirm. You should be able to reset the PCM by pulling the PCM/ECM fuse or negative battery cable for 30 seconds.
OK, thanks all. ill give it a shot.
