Hey guys, just did remote start on '97 nissan quest, however when turning key to disengage remote starter, you can hear the starter engaging, can i use the same accessory isolation circuit for the 1999 Altima on this vehicle?    .............................................thanks Triniforever

Sup man? I am not exactly familiar with the diagram you're talking about, but if it's just a remote starter, i'm assuming that there was no starter interrupt, which would cause your starter to engage even though it has already started, most units have a GWR wire, you can use this and a relay for anti-grind.

Hey dude, hows it going. On some older nissan vehicles like the Altima, the accessory wire must be isolated for remote starting to prevent the vehicle from over cranking with the ignition key.its a simple relay, pins 87and 85 goes to 12volts 86 toground output while running 87a to key side ofaccessory and 30 to under dashside of accessory wire.the accessory wire needs to be cut in half.
