I Have a 2WSS-R (1 mile range LCD compustar). It has been in the vehicle for about a year and when I try to remote start it flashes 3 times to tell me it fails and then follows up with one additional flash telling me "the vehicle is already running" Which it is not.
I can get the vehicle to do a RS take over(hold button down) remove key from ignition and vehicle stays running however when I do a Remote start it just fails and flashes 1 time. Any ideas?

its an issue with the brain i've seen it happen with a few of them. take it to whoever installed it provided they are authorized compstar dealers if not then find one and have them warranty the unit. compustar offers a lifetime warranty on the brains.
