i want to have just my parking lights flash when i arm/disarm or use my remote start function. which wire would i tap into to have this work correctly and is a resistor or relay needed? i have a dei remote start/keyless entry system on my 2003 dodge ram 1500. thanx

AT SWITCH

USE A 320 (OR A 1.4K) OHM RESISTOR... USE RELAY TO ISOLATE FROM SWITCH

could you explain a little further as to what i would need to do. i had that list all printed out but wasnt exactly sure what needed to be done to make it work. so i need to put a resistor inline on the 12v supply from the security system to the violet / YELLOW wire? please explain the relay install a little further.....? thanx
